Port Neches
Renewable Biofuels is currently constructing a 180 million gallon per year (MMGPY)
biodiesel facility located on Huntsman Chemical Corporation’s Port Neches, Texas
site. With more than six million barrels of storage capacity, deepwater port, rail
and access to major refined products pipeline in the US, the Port Neches site has
unprecedented access to feedstock and biodiesel markets. Integration with Huntsman’s
chemical complex allows Renewable Biofuels to capture the benefits of Huntsman Chemical’s
existing infrastructure.
RBF’s Port Neches facility consists of parallel twin 90
MMGPY capacity trains which are scheduled to come on line in 2008. The facility
will utilize state-of-the-art technology that includes continuous process and recovery
system design, a pre-treatment system and a reactor system that accommodates a wide
range of feedstock. The biodiesel produced will meet ASTM D6751.
